Joey started with two mates, Harry and Rob, and a shared love of travelling Australia the good way – slow roads, good company, local knowledge and plenty of time for the moments that make a trip memorable.
Why we started Joey?
After years of travelling, meeting people from all over the world and chasing great times along the coast, we saw the same problem again and again: getting around Australia can be complicated, expensive and underwhelming. So we decided to build the kind of bus company we always wished existed.
Joey is our way of helping people explore what we love about this country – the must-see spots, the lesser-known detours and the places that don’t always make it onto a guided tour. We’ve designed Joey to feel less like transport and more like a travel companion, taking the stress out of getting around so you can focus on the experience.
